How to use visualtization to keep you on track

by Julie Baird on June 10, 2010

The subconscious mind is a huge source of untapped power. The smartest people in the world have figured out how to use this power to their advantage. Fortunately you do not have to be the smartest person in the world to use this yourself.

Close your eyes for a second. Imagine yourself in the future. What kind of life are you living, where do you live, what is your home like?  Think about how you earn your living, what do you do, what gives you a thrill about it, what is it that makes you jump out of bed each morning?

Now you have that picture in your mind, think about what you need to do in your life now to take you closer to that picture.

What kind of student do you need to be? What kind of activities should you be involved in?

Next time you feel yourself drifting and your usual techniques to get back on track are not working for you. Close your eyes and picture your future life and all the wonders it has in store. It might just give you the drive to keep your head down.
