Make The Most Of Your Time By Traveling in Comfort This Holiday Season

by Julie Baird on November 23, 2010

Many people are traveling this time of year and the challenge is to try and arrive relaxed and ready to make the most of your time. Whether it is with family and friends or at the other end getting back into the swing of work and study.

My son and I are both total suckers for infomercials and “What’s On TV” products are frequently on our gift ideas lists. So with a few overnight flights in the cards he talked me into buying a “Total Pillow”. I am not too sure about the name, the pillow is donut shaped, surely a “total” pillow would have a middle?

Naming aside the pillow worked great. It twists and folds to give you comfort and support where you need it. On my overnight flight it supported my neck better than the “U” shaped pillows and being a circle it made it easier to carry. Unlike the picture on the box it did not fit over the handle of my rolling case but it is easy to put your hand or strap through.

Overall a thumbs up for the “Total Pillow”. It definitely helped me get a sleep on the flight, and it you are travelling over the holidays it will help you arrive a bit more relaxed.

Now if only I could see an infomercial for something that would stop the guy behind me from kicking my seat!

What are your favorite travel tips for arriving stress free and ready to go?
